Yea, I was thinking that Norm Mienert's UI has something different for wheels but can't remember what. I believe Royal B. has one in his collection too but my pictures, if I have any, are on the old PC that won't light up anymore.

I have a book that shows dozens of versions of IU's that AC made. The one I have has an A front axle, foot brakes, hand clutch, winch and pintle hitch.

Eldon, alot of the older tractors ,had U- # casting #'s.As Dale said they used all type of wheels and built them as per what someone needed. A friend of mine has one like this but it has round spokes front and rear, another guy down in Maryland not far from me has one just like in picture.

I saw one up in northern MN that had a spring type front end on it, along with all four original hard rubber tires. It was used in town to deliver items from the railroad depot down the old cobblestone streets.
