My Dad passed away this morning at age 84.  He was a life long Allis man, over the years owning a number of AC's and at his death still having nine of them.  I will miss him a lot.  Just had to share this with someone at this late hour.  Thanks for your thoughts.  Dave

Dave, I'm sorry to hear of your loss.  At 84 I'm sure your dad had a good life and saw so many changes over the years.  I hope his passing was peaceful and you can remember the good times with him.

Sympathies and condolences.  I lost my Dad just over 5 years ago.  Still think about him a lot.  I still have his last B and a lot of the Allis books from when he worked for them.  The pain gets better, just takes a while.  Hang on to the memories and everything he taught you.

A middle of the night, can't sleep sorry for your lose from NC Iowa. Just a thought, would we love the orange even if our fathers didn't love them first? My dad and I are very close and farming together has and will always keep us that way. My daughter is very lucky in that she still has all of her grandparents still living. I am deeply sorry for your lose. I'll bet he was one of those that even though I never knew him, I would have liked him.

Dave,
Please accept my condolences. I lost my Dad nine years ago, and I still miss him. Over time, you will treasure the things he taught you and the time you spent with him. It is a tough time to weather, but I can assure you that part of him will be with you always.

Dave, I can feel you sorrow in your post.  I am so sorry for your loss.  Lost my grandpa eight years ago and still think of him almost every day.  When he passed we went and got an AC sticker kit for a WC and put it on his coffin.

Dave - you have my sincerest condolences.  I lost my father and a life-long Allis man back in 1997 and I too miss him.  My efforts since then to be active in farming again part-time and building my AC collection is my way of honoring him and passing that heritage along to my sons.  Prayers are with you and your family.  Mike
