Last night i heard my D17 bark to life for the first time since the gasket let go. It was such a nice sound. I had the bad spot fixed up and plained down. I had the starter rebuilt while i had it apart, and man its like i brought home a new tractor the way it starts and runs. Just wanna thank all you guys for all your input and advice. Thanks

Where did you have the head work done?

hey 45 diesel,how much can you mill a 230 head off a 45 diesel???
