My ? is not really about the lift housing but the two bolt holes for the drawbar bracket. I took the housing off to check the spider gears and pinion gear. I also wanted to replace the o rings for the lift arms and the o ring in the lift arm cylinder. I see that the two bolt holes for the  drawbar bracket are in bad shape. Is this a common thing?  What would be the best way to fix it? drill next size bigger or use a heala coil?  Any info is great info. Eric

If you're talking the holes in the underside of the lift arm housing or tranny housing, I'm not there looking at it but, I'd probably prefer a good helicoil. If you go a larger diameter bolt (7/8") the head of it may be too large for the bracket to be able to tighten it with a socket????
