I figured out the blower from help on here.  I extened the skies out to 4 inches and extened the top link on the 3pt out to make it lean forward that streightned out my pto shaft to just a slight bend and  it worked great I put on 4 hrs today triming back snow banks and did not snap a shear pin.  Here is it is today in 3 1/2 ft of snow.

Nice, I'm happy you found the CAUSE and more importantly the CURE to the nagging  problem.

I just spent 6 hours tearing the transaxle out of my riding snowblower(Cub Cadet lawn tractor, 42" blower) and welding up the shift fork that broke into 2 pieces.Only +10F here so I'm NOT going to test it for a few days.

Glad you got it working. Be careful doing those non OSHA approved things. I have a neighbor laid up from doing that. When he went to get back on the tractor his coveralls got snagged by the back tire, pulling him in and under the tractor and spitting him out the other side. Broke his left femur just below the ball. He now has a steel plate and a bunch of recovery and therapy to look forward to.

Where are you guys finding all that white stuff?  We started out setting records, but haven't seen any white stuff for over a month.  I'm starting to think it might be spring one of these days!

I'm soooo glad we're down here. Got a light dusting overnight. Warmed up pretty quick, so it was gone by noon. Not missing the 8"(had to be a record) we got last month. Stuff stayed around for a week. I was glad to see it go. Kip, glad to see you got everything working for you. Little nuisance problems like that will drive you bonkers, won't they?
Looks like she's doing a great job. Like Charlie said, be careful. Don't want YOU getting spit out that chute.

I didn't do it! It was a short, fat, tall, skinny guy that looked like me!

Darrel only 8 weeks away from planting those beets! You still have snow out there? It sure is nice to be livin on the west side of the Actic Express! Most of the time it misses us. Can't say I miss those subzero winter temps....

Yes Eldon, we have snow. If we get as much rain this spring and summer as we've had snow this winter, it'll be a bountiful year! Darrel
