The broken baler is slightly over priced, depending on the paint and shape of the tin.  We bought a 442 at auction in pristine condition, except for a flat tire for $225.00, and I have seen them in work clothes ready to work in the 300-400 range.  It just depends on the hay market, and where they are located.

In Missouri a pristine 442 would go for about $1500 at least I guess if not more.  Mike

If you are planning to use the baler you might check on available parts first.  I know we had a customer who had an AC baler that he had to quit using because he couldnt get parts.
