I recently purchased a D17 series IV with factory 3pt. hitch.  I purchased it from a dealer who either didn't know or wouldn't say who the previous owner was.
 
I found the tube from the hydraulic system(behind the seat) to the traction booster gauge disconnected.  What do you think the reasoning was for disconnecting this tube? (I don't see any signs of a leak.)

The tube may have had a leak.  This is why we disconnected the traction booster gauge on our D-17.
