I thought i was doing something good, i set out to adjust the valves on my wd45, is there a proper procedure in doing this? For there is multiple "F" marks on the flywheel, which one do you use? Please help!!!

  i set mine cold.011take  off plug wires  when numb er one fires then set that cyl. an so on  has always worked for us

Dont worry about the firing Just adjust one cylinder at a time and here is the correct procedure to get it right  on any engine with a solid lift cam shaft. For proper adjustment  you have to adjust the intake valve when the exhaust valve starts to open . then set the exhaust lash when the intake valve is pushed all the way open and just starts to close.
