I think I know the anser but what is the rmp diference with a wd45 govenor/weights. Are the wd45, D-17, 175, gleaner E springs. I have a old wd spring I could take the plunger out and put into a E spring I have.

I have a WD45 governor with stock weights and D17 spring that will turn a little over 2100 rpms, validated by a good tachometer.

I know if you go to an AGCO dealer they list a 226 spring rated at 1850 rpm.  I bought one several years ago for our TL-10 loader.
