Hi guys,

Looking to see if anyone knows where a guy can pickup new cam and crank gears for this 262D.

Agco wants $40 from the crank one (not too bad) but $350 for the cam one.  Ouch!

Thanks
Terry

I needed a cam gear for my 262D and got one from All States Ag Parts in Wisconsin. They are on the web.

The gears are the same on most 262 gas and diesel. I came across a cam gear the other day out of a gas that didn't have the 3 taped holes for pump drive gear.    MACK

I have spare cam gear[s] from 230 diesel, will they work?

I think a new or reground cam is available from Valu-Bilt

If you get a cam from Valu-Bilt, have the casting numbers ready when you call. If I remember correctly, they said there were 4 choices. The early cam choice is the same as the 230 and they didn't want my old one for a core. Gears? Can't help there.
