Well the snow started and the wind picked just after noon. It's supposed to keep it up untill this time tomorrow. 12" to 20" and wind around 35 mph. I feel sorry for the neighbor with cattle. I'm glad I've got a plow on the pickup but I might need to get the 200 & loader out. High for Thursday is supposed to be 9 degrees but sunny.

dang. It sleeted here for a couple of hours. When I left for PT at 5 this morning, it was just starting. When I got out of PT we had an inch and Penn State didn't cancel class.... everybody but the main campus cancelled. aggrivating.

We have 8-10" of blowing snow right now.  The wind is blowing 20-30 mph making white-out conditions.  The county has closed all roads with a curfew of 6:00 P.M.  Our rural country road had its fair shair of drifts at 4:00 when I  brought my wife home from work.  Just about all business's have closed for tomorow.  I took out extra hay and straw-bedding for the cows yesterday.  They should be good till Friday.  Andy

Well at 7:00PM the wind is blowing hard and has been since noon I can't tell you how much snow we have because all I can see is going by sideways and not sticking around. LOL! We have a 4' drift in front of the vans that are parked next to the house, and the facia is coming off of the porch. You can see the glow of the pole light about 300' away from the house, but not the pole building about 300' beyond that. It will be interesting to see things in the light of day.
Only a fool would venture out in this unless it was life or death.
