Well, Armand has nothing to fear but I thought some of you folks might enjoy some pics of the 1/64 I customized for my collection. I grew up with Grandpa's WD and Dad's WD45. The 1/64 Ertl WD45 is actually set up like our WD(stock nf). I wanted a 1/64 WD45 to resemble our real WD45(beefier wf). The rear wheels were donated by a JD 530 which just happened to be the only toy I could find sporting ps rear wheels(Why is that if AC pioneered them?). The complete wide front axle came from the 1/64 AC D19. This is actually the second WD45 wf I have made. The first one I gave to my Dad after I finished it a couple of years ago. Rather than throw away the D19, I simply transferred the old WD45 nf pedestal onto it to make a D19 nf for my collection. I like how they turned out. Hope you do too.
