I don't have any pictures right now as I built the tractor years agoe and it's been sitting for a few years now, but I did have a friend make a little youtube video if you want to see the 1936 WC just search on youtube for "marty nelson" and it will come up, someone better with the computer than I can post a link.
It'll be 75 years old this year so I figured I'd revive it this year and freshen things up with a different cam profile and a new intake manifold and carb for one last season on the old engine.

yep
It was a rough looking hulk of a tractor I bought for $75, the hood and radiator were nice and I gave them to a friend who rolled out a new hood for me and I made the radiator shell.
At the time this one was built, I had to use an old 201 block. Now I can use a newer block, late D17, Gleaner E type so I've been working on a new engine this winter. Building a new cylinder head is the main focus, and a Ron's Flying Toilet fuel system. The main cap and girdle assembly is almost done. Heading out west skiing for a while and when I get back I'll try to get some pictures of the parts and assemblies

Here is dad's '35 WC he pulled for nearly 30 years. It threw a rod about 12 years ago, and we have yet to fix it. He pulled it in the open class, and it was puttin out around 80 horse he figures. I hope to rebuild it in the near future, and start running it again. A few times a year we pull our WD and WD-45 in the stock classes, and are usually in the top three, always ahead of the deeres, the olivers are the ones to look out for.

Benny, Do you pull at the fair or just at the antique show? I haven't ever pulled at either with full size. I've pulled garden tractor at the fair a couple of times but this year I'm thinking about pulling at the antique show.

I pull at both, and a few others....anything you need to know just ask and I'll try and fill you in....only thing with the Antique show is you cant hang weight, and you can only pull one time per tractor you have there.....still alot of fun though. The fair is a good time as well...check out http://cptpa.yolasite.com/ - http://cptpa.yolasite.com/ for rules that they use....that site is for Central PA Tractor Pullers Association which I'm a part of....we have monthly meetings and what not....and I'm the only Orange guy in the bunch lol....and just out of curiousity, by your screen name I'm guess you're a Bald Eagle Boy? I'm not picking....BEA class of '01

Yup Bald Eagle. Class of 10 lol I'm hoping to pull my MD if I ever can get my hand clutch adjusted right. It wanted to slip real bad when it was hooked to my Uncle's JD 60. I might even get the allis in there I"m not sure. If you've ever wandered over toward the garden tractors you would have seen my Speedex's there. I've been taking at least one over for probably 6 years now.

Nice....do you have a big enough trailer to get either your MD or AC over there? And I'm guessing you're referring to a Farmall when you said MD? I can hook you up with a few guys over this way that can probably get you fixed up with that clutch problem.

For the trailer, we have one but I can't put the Farmall on it. It has fenders so I can't get the wheels in far enough. It has the capacity to haul it but not the width. My pap has a real heavy deck over that I use but it weights 3300 so with the farmall (weights and fluid, plus wide front end) that puts me really close or over weight. It hauls it ok just I don't want to get stopped. The allis should be no problem. I might even put the allis and our ford 8n on the same one. For the clutch, it has the M&W hand clutch so I can have live PTO for baling hay or whatever. I've already tightened it so I could plow with it and by the end of our little fun pull I had it adjusted pretty good.

If there's a will, there's a way! But bring the AC over.....not that many come to the antique show and next to NONE come to the Grange Fair.....I'm really really hoping to have my WD45 done for the Spring Gas Up at the Cave

The CA will definately be at the fall show. Not sure about the spring one. I normally never take anything over since it's not that big. might have to save a spot so i'm not parked by some creeper.

Bring it out to the spring show....its getting bigger every year and the pulls arent quite so over run with the thousands of tractors that come to the fall show....Since you're close I'll try and keep you up to date on pulls I know of....most you would have to take the Farmall....alot of pulls start at 4000 or 4500....the antique show weight class's start at 3000 I think so the CA would be good to go.
