I want to paint a piece of equipment Cat yellow.  Is it possible to buy this color from a regular paint store or do you need to go to a Cat dealer?

I don't know, but a quick Google of "caterpillar paint codes" found this:

Looks like there are a bunch of Cat yellows....
If you do your research and know WHICH yellow you want (get that paint code), any good paint store should be able to mix it up for you.

Just make sure you find the RIGHT code before getting the paint, take it from my mistakes...... just ask why my C "Lil' Allis" is the wrong color orange..... Dang paint store guys that din't know what they were talking about talked my Dad into a different code that what I gave him to get (which was the right one).  Oh well, live and learn,  LOL!
