100 plus miles, pulled it home behind the truck 6 row planter, nerve racking, 5 3/4 hrs and a few middle fingers later. don't want to that every day. farmersville oh to peebles oh.

i didn't take a camera with me but its a new idea 6rn kinze units liquid fert. dickey john monitor hasn't been used in two years, bought at auction today, don't know how to post a link but could go to auction zip.com ohio search word farmersville oh, there is one pic on there of it.

Not many sales around here this winter. I watched a couple NI planters sell, both in good condition, one for $5,000 one for $3,800. I ended up with a good JD 7100 for $1600. Are prices at auctions holding up in the midwest?

The ones I go to are holding their prices up quite nicely.Everything I want goes higher than I want to pay.Thought this was a down economy.
Glad you could get it back ok.Have moved an all crop 72,roto baler and lots of wagons for my father the auction hound.Not alot of fun.

country guy, I seen a guy with an allis hat to, but it wasn't me. the planter was the first large item to sale. bought it, paid for it as soon as the tickets got back to the trailer, aired the tires up took the planter lids off, and away i went, way before the auction was even close to being over. so I don't know what anything else brought, I was trying to get home before dark. I was wandering what the grain truck and IH 504 with loader brought?

Know some guys that found a 12 row 7200 deere. They are debating rather to pull it or try and figure out how to haul it. Have to go about 50 miles and block a bridge to cross the Ohio River from Illinois into Kentucky if they pull it.

Hauling that stuff makes for some interesting times -- glad you made it. Still chuckle about the guys that drove a Gleaner through downtown Lexington, KY. to get it home.

The last thing I saw sell was that huge broken apart hay wagon for $100. My buddy bought the black center dump gavity box for $700, probably one of the best deals there. We only had to go 20 miles or so to get home.
