Found a splined coupling, # 229099 in a box I had laying around. Anyone know what it's for? Thanks in advance for any help. Chad

It's the splined coupling that goes in the narrow front.

Thanks for the help.....I knew it was for a 17, but I don't have a parts book for one either.
