I purchased a fuel gauge and sender matching set from A&I, wired it up on my shop bench and I can not get it to work.  I know the sender is working I checked the ohm's.  Also I feel the gauge is working.  The gauge has 3 wire hook up, they are "B", "T", and the ground.  The sender has two, the main hook up and the ground.  The tractor is negative ground.  I ran the hot wire to the "B" on the gauge,  ground to ground on gauge and the sender, then ran the wire from the sender to the  "T" on the gauge.  Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds correctly wired. You might try using machine screws to attach the ground to the senders body since most simple gauge circuits like that ground the sender through the tank. See if it works that way.
