I know this has probably been discussed here before, but I'm looking for a little advice. I am finally going to fix the brakes on my 180. I know they look like a pain and have read the shop manual, but I know there are probably lots of tips to be aware of when doing them.
Where is a good place to get brake parts ?
Also another problem is it (diesel) doesn't run real smooth at times, as it hunts or surges. Seems like I've read on here about a govenor ring in the pump, or maybe other things could cause it.  Any help on that would be helpful. I very seldom post here, but read this forum about every day. Lots of info and cool stuff. Thanks in advance for any help.

I would say it could be the governor flex ring.  Mine does the same thing, and I am going to soon have it rebuilt because pieces of rubber are plugging the return line.

And it could be the crappy biodiesel after setting for extended periods. It has fouled up my 220 from over winter last season.Talk to a reputable pump shop about biodeisel pump problems.
