Anyone with experience fixing a D10 that jumps out of 3rd gear?
What causes it, and how to fix it?
Thanks, Bill B

Could be a number of things... Back pinion bearing. The splines on the gear. The splines on the shifting coupling wore from grinding. Open up the side panel see what it looks like. Look for metal shavings at the bottom of the casing. check the play the shaft has. check the splines on the gear and the coupling.
