I just got a brochure on this chopper and other than this brochure I have never seen or heard of one. Have any of you guys ever come across one? I imagine that allis outsourced this particular piece of equipment. Who made it?

Yes I did see one at an auction I would guess at least 15 years ago, it looked so much like a Fox brady and I didn't like the looks of it so I passed on it, funny thing though on the way home I saw an Allis all crop drill and bought it for $75.00 that made my day.

Yeah, I have seen them on auctions too, and they were made by somebody else, but my mind has failed in remembering who built it for them.

I don't think it is one exactly like that but a guy a couple miles away from me has an AC silage chopper that has been parked in the side of his field for years. I don't need it or have anywhere to put it so I couldn't get it, it's sad to see orange rusting away.

They sold alot of them around here. I've missed out on a few of them. They were built by Oppel harvester company out of Idaho. Oppel built the potato and sugar beet equipment also for Allis. They also built the roto shredder. Here is a pic of my roto shredder.

Thanks for the info. I knew oppel made the potato equipment. I have a couple brochures on them also. I have seen a couple allis potato diggers around here. That shredder is neat. Never thought i would ever see one other that from a brochure.
