What weight gear oil is used in the rear end and how full do you fill it/where is it filled? Also, where is the fill hole for engine oil and what weight it that? Grandpa always knew about the Deere, I just know the basic stuff. I had all this stuff written down, just can't remember where I put the paper.

Trans & Rear End use Gear OIL  80/90 will work Fine Cap, 4/41/2 Gals.     Motor oil filler is on the right side top of motor by belt pulley  its a pipe cap use motor oil[your choice]  oil level check valve is on right side below belt pulley  oil filter is on bottom of engn. Cap.6/8 qts. dont forget 1st. reduction gear thats the pipe plug behind the oil pipe drain plug is behind belt pulley Cap. about  1/2 qt. use motor oil.

  Trans Rear End filler plug is on the back right by P T O no dip stick  if it runs out its full if it dosent put some in.
