I found the following tractor for sale. Can you give some ideas what you think it is worth?
D17 Series III diesel with (looks like AC industrial) fully hydraulic loader and front pump. Also has 4 piece weights on rear tires. Tractor runs and works but engine has a lot of blow by and transmission jumps out of 3rd going down hill.
All sheet metal is straight, but fenders will need patch work. One brake works. Tires hold air, but do not look the greatest.
How much is it to rebuild one of these 262s?
Thanks for the feedback!

Is it truely an industrial? Does it have a shuttle or heavy front axle? Lots of unknowns.

If it has the industrial front axle and reverser I would go $2000 if it still starts and runs decent...light front end and pd, $1500 or less.

My mistake. Only the loader looks industrial. Is not an industrial tractor.

That's a Henry loader like was used on the 15 and 17 industrials. Very heavy and well built loader. I love the 262's but the loader and weights are worth what the tired tractor is.

I just talked to the guy that owns it, thought maybe he would sell the rear weights seperately, not. He is on Rd 57 north of Bowmanville. He has a CA mounted on a pole at the road.

Says 1500 + tax. With Canada taxes that would probably be another grand wouldn't it? LOL!!!

Myron; That is an A-C (Henry) L-200 loader. If you check some of the Club newsletters from last year you will see that Mario in Quebec has a D-17 d series III industrial for sale.
It has the solid front axle and shuttle and is yellow. Buy the both and sell the orange one.

I have somewhere between $2500 and $3K U.S. in the short block assy on my D17 262. Got lucky and didn't need to do much with the head.
I think $1500 would be my limit on that one.
