Just another quick update, it has changed a little since the last time I posted pictures.
The fenders are now back on with the extensions in place. Also, the lead sediment bowl is now on, as well as the side shields and brackets on the frame rail. Both the fan blowers are mounted in place and ready to go now. Just taking care of alot of the small stuff lately. One step at a time, but it is coming together good so far.

Those extensions sure make this rear end look wide! Enough for 2 seats almost! Notice the license plate "brake cover". They must have ran out of the stamped steel ones at the factory, and painted this nice plate and stuck her on! I think I am going to leave it for now, the plate actually has my initals in it! go figure!

Lookin' good there,Don! I'm sure it takes a while to mount that picker...if it was me,it'd stay on the tractor from now on! LOL!  Rick

Sooo, I gotta ask, what's with the lead sediment bowl? Danger of stalks breaking the glass maybe?

I didn't do it! It was a short, fat, tall, skinny guy that looked like me!

Rick, you are right, this picker is not coming off this tractor! I guess you could say its like a "DH" for baseball, except this is a tractor. I imagine that this wouldn't be terrible to put on the tractor, back in the 1950's when everything was new. But doing this now, there are seals, gaskets, broken bolts, and all kinds of other things that slow the process down.

DREAM, you are right, the lead bowl is to prevent stalks hitting a glass bowl and breaking it.

Hope the bowl is pot metal and not lead , otherwise it's history as lead is soft.
