I'm thinking your son lives somewhere south of the UP. If not, you sure did a good job melting all your snow!

The installation and the tractor look great. I really like the grill guard with the bump out for the hydraulic pump. Nice!

Nice looking snow removal unit, if he ever gets any. LOL  I dug my old HH out the other day. It seems I removed the home made bracket that holds the center up to the steering wheel support shaft. I think I'll wait for warmer weather and sunshine to tinker with it. I don't spend more than 20 minutes at a time on the 45 anyway.

I wouldn't mind having one for my ol' 14. I wonder if the front pump drains very much power from the tractor. I have a front pump for mine but some of the jobs I do with it takes about all the power it has.JP

Harry: Do you know what brand of loader that is? I have one like it and it does not have any identifying marks on it.   Dave

Hey, Harold, did you get your calendar before you left? You made September look like a pretty good month!

what type of brackets hold the center of the Regal up? I was warned away from Regal due to drilling needed for it, did you do any drilling?

Yes, I have the calendars, they did a good job putting them together. I though all of the pictures were good, especially the Sept. one.

That looks like a pretty nice install there. A step back in time...

AC WD-45
The center support bracket bolts on to four bolts on the side sheet metal pieces, two bolts on each side. No drilling is necessary. This was on the D-14 with side entry. When I started it looked like  mounting was going to be a real challenge but it turned out not to be too bad.

Well, Harold, I'm going to let the cat out of the bag. Here's a pic of Harry's 1956 WD 45 on our local club tractor ride this past summer. We did a club calendar for 2011, and this is the pic for September.

The loader on the D-14 would be an Allis ( Freeman ) Model 14.

The front pump is an 'Add On', usually only used on the Model 414 Loader with the Double Acting lift cylinders and Hydraulic Bucket.

The add on pump goes to a priority valve for the char-lyn power stearing and left over volumne goes to a two spool loader valve.

Most farms in my area in the 70s still had scattered properties.   If you had a heat houser on any tractor it made all the difference on those winter 'road trips' that came up too often.
