Hi guys, I have a chance to pick up a working A/C belly mower for not much money. I have a few questions though as I have never used or mounted one on a tractor. How hard is it to mount on a WD/WD45? Once mounted can it be left on and the tractor still be usable for other tasks, ie raking, pulling a trailer, ect? Will a belt pully have to be removed or can it stay mounted? If you are talking about an Allis 82S mower, you can leave it on and do lots of other work. Mine has a PTO extension after the drive sprocket so that a crusher can be run behind the tractor when mowing.
The drive sprocket can easily be removed as well so that PTO operated equipment
eg: baler or rake can be used.

 A picture from a brochure shows how the 82S is run off the PTO.
Mine uses a chain and sprockets since it is made up from a conglomeration of parts from both the 82S and the earlier 80S.
