Maybe not the filters specifically, but that is the only 5 pack box I ever seen.

Nathan - It was a 5 pack box, says 5 oil filters on side of box.
Seller says "box with 3 still remaining".

I think what you see at the shows is new filters painted with the decal on them.  These are mint flat top filters with the box, vintage 1940's maybe?

I wished I could find about a case of them laying around some where.

You know, I cannot tell you how many of these we sold.  Course they don't make them any more and collectors love the box.
You know, I'm paying good money for things I threw away.
Good Luck!

I have old Wix, Fram, and Purolator filters for WD etc. in the original boxes of the soup can vintage. Actually Dad had them and gave me a few. I remember back in the 80's when I was a teenager I was with Dad when he went into the local hardware store and while there he asked if they had a filters for his C on hand. The guy, Darryl, said they didn't do much with filters anymore but he remembered seeing a box of really old ones in the back room. He came out with about 20 filters in a card board box they were going to throw out. Sold the whole box full to Dad for a buck. Of course Dad started using them up although I argued against it but I finally stopped him from using anymore after half were gone. I put the Wix one on my WD just for shows. If I ever get my old B up in shape it will get the Purolator. I'll take some pics sometime.

Three things wish I could find for my 38-B.  Flat top oil filter of any make.  Two front single rib tires which they don't make anymore.  And an original front weight setup for the arch axle.  I realize they would be expensive but to find them is the challenge here in Texas.

Flat top filters aren't as rare as some make them out to be.  Just keep your eyes open.  I got an original old 3 pack with box at a show a couple of years ago for under 10$ if I remember right. (sorry, not for sale)  They can be found.

As for single rib front tires, they make them.
Miller tire has them here

click "front tractor" on left side
5.5 x 16 is the size for a B, right?  Not cheep but there.
Hope this helps!

The B takes a 15 inch tire. Single rib not reproduced right now.

You got quite a find on the filters. The seller did not realize what they had.
