How are multiple wheel weights attached?

What holds on the first set while the second set is installed? First ,second while third set attached?...etc.

I just bought a couple sets of weights from a guy who thought they would fit my tractor  ( of an inferior color ).

I took his word for it, and I haven't measured or anything yet... going to look into it today... but they certainly don't look the same as the set that's already on there.

If it turns out that they don't fit... could I drill and tap some holes or something to make them fit?

Usually each wheel weight has 6 bolt holes in them.  3 of the holes used to bolt the weight to the wheel centers, and the other 3 holes are used to bolt to the next weight and so on..  The weight bolts are usually carriage head style.  Make sure to purchase them from a tractor dealer so you know you have correct bolt strenght ratings.
