Hi All!

So I went to start my D17 last week, and as it was warming up, it started barfing what appears to be hydraulic fluid, from just in front of the radiator.

Didn't do it for long... mebbie 20 seconds or so... then it cleared up.  I hadn't turned the wheels... just cranked it up and walked away for a minute while it warmed.

Did I have some ice in something, or is this indicative of some other problem?

I'd guess the thicker oil made a bigger bubble than ussual. This displacement pushed some oil out the vent. Problem is where did the air come from. Likely have a pin hole in the suction tube.

Cold thick oil.Probably caused it to suck air through weak/worn pump seals.

It drew air into the system from somewhere.
