My manual doesn't address it.  What is the appropriate oil/fluid to use in a D14 with factory power steering.

It was ATF, dont remember if it was type a or type f.    Drain it out and use universal trans/hydralic oil now.     They used ATF cause it was lighter weight than the 20/20 used in the hydralic systems of the day.  ATF is about a 10w,  universal hyd is about a 10/20 weight. HTH

I use AFT in mine with no problems.  If anything, it works better in cold weather.
