Started last January, so it was last winters project, getting back at it so it's this winters project , too.
 Here's a slideshow of what I have done, which is not much as needs to be done..LOL

Gary , you have come far on the progress ,on your WC, it must be a labor of love .
You have done a lot of work from when Nick and I was up there in September.
Will you be ready in the spring for the tractor pulls, let us know , we would like to come and see it pull.

| Pete, the front wheels are F&H HC111 re-rimmed to 4X16, the rear wheels are F&H HC26A's from a farmall F20 re-rimmed with flat base 12X28's, the engine is a 262 6 cyl. from a Gleaner C11. |

Nice job on the front rims. Mine had already had a 16 rim welded on and the center part was rusted so I cut everything off and welded on new 16 inch rims. My 35 looked much worse than your tractor to start with but I started working on it 10 years ago.

Nice job on everything so far Gary. I have to say that you gave me lots of ideas on the WC that I was thinking of making a puller out of, I was thinking of widening the rear rims, but you're idea is much easier and better in my opinion as well. I wasn't gonna go all out on the motor as it already has a WD45 engine in it, but you are giving me some food for thought. Did you have to extend the frame rails or was there enough room in there for the 6 cylinder engine? Very impressive work Gary. Especially on the radiator and wheels. How hard was it to get the tanks off? | To answer a few questions, Benny , do you mean Escanaba? I think Escabana is in Cuba, or Belize. Yea, I fell for the hype and That was the LAST time I was in a movie theatre, couple of hours I'll never get back. Chuck , the rails are stock WC, except for a little nibbleing to clear the governor/timing gear cover:the front bolster was trimmed a bit ,too. Brian, I used parts from the gleaner rad, relocated so I could use the original gleaner hoses with an unstyled WC rad. It will mean moving the rad fully forward and constructing a new shroud, a longer hood, and probably a combination grille guard, weight bracket and something handy for tie down during transport. I looked on the agco parts site at D17 and D19 rads and their outlets wouldn't work as cleanly especially since my goal is to try to make this look, as much as possible, as if Allis had built it. |
