I'm told it starts good and runs nice, new paint job, right color, wrong decals but they should come off with a little help from a hair drier or heat gun.
Tires are good, it could use guages replaced and possibly some other TLC. It looks like it would be ready to work or it could be a show tractor with a little effort.

Pics show a D17 Diesel, is there a D19 Diesel, maybe the wrong pictures?

It looks like about three tractors in a row that I wouldn't mind hoarding-er, owning. The D17, an Oliver 77, and what appears to be a C Allis wheel center in the background that most likely has a C attached to it. ("C" Allis-not Cialis) Could be a Farmall, I suppose.

Dave has a lot of neat stuff, was a Ford dealer up till the 80's I think, Dad bought a new 8600 from him in 74. I've bought some tractors and equipment and occasionally have him work on stuff. Lots of small & antique tractors, hay, construction and misc equipment. Still specializes in little Fords. I'd kinda like that Oliver 77 myself. LOL!

According to that serial number, it started life as a gas. All of the diesel D17's I've seen have a "D", mine included, after the number. For a tractor with that low of a serial #, it shouldn't have a bar grille either. Ok ok, not meaning to sound like the correct police, not a bad looking machine, I'd take it if I had room for another.

Hey Dave, I was noticing the McConnell Power Arm 3 Point Hoe in the 2nd photo. My local AC dealer sold quite a few of those years ago. They were made in England. I bought a used one several years back that needed the valve bank rebuilt. I had to order parts from England. That was before the internet.....I had quite a phone bill! I use it a couple times a year and it works good. Does anyone else own one? Eric NY
