How reliable are the AC HD6B, what are the specs on this machine, what should a person look for?

TRACK and rest of undercarrage as that is most expensive of any repairs.

Like any machine depending on past use or care will depend on reliagility into future. Remember they were first built in 1956 on so depending on year it may have thousands of hours on it .

About 70 HP and 13 to 15,000 lb , then depends on dozer type and mfg.
