OK, on the local Craigslist there is a guy with a WD and loader for sale... says the "loader will need new cylinders per the owner" (owner is elderly, doesn't have internet access, so he's listing it for him).

A couple questions - will this loader and frame fit a D-15? If not, I assume it will fit a WD-45?

What do new / rebuilt cylinders run, cost wise? I haven't seen them so don't know why the owner would say that they need replacing... wonder what the "point of no return" is for rebuilding them or replacing them?

You should have no problem making the loader fit. May need a couple new hole in the mounting plates. I've seen the same loader go from a D-14 to a WD to a D-19. Cylinders can be rebuilt, depending on what's wrong with them.

as John says, the cylinders are rebuild able, real cheap. I have a pair that were pretty badly pitted and scratched. I repacked the seal with packing rope and it works real fine, weeps a little more than they should, but works fine. If the loader is a W-9, It will fit a WD/WD-45, but I don't know how much it would take to mount on a D series, like John says, maybe only a hole or two

You will have to measure the tractor frame width to be sure it will fit.

I have a loader on a D-14 and want to put it on a D-15, but I know the engine frame is wider. Bob
