Why is it that I can't found dic brakes for the one -sixty and I need a steering wheel for the 160

i could be wrong and i dont know production numbers but i have only ever seen one 160 anywhere near us and we owned it. i realize there are some out there but not as many as other models. my guess is thats why parts arent plentiful for it. i do some car restoration and have found that if you have a popular car there is alot more available than a less popular car. our 160 was our barnyard scraper tractor and always ran good but gave us nothing but problems with the three point hitch, wouldnt go up ,wouldnt go down so we sold it and bought a skid loader and a wd45. i kinda miss it.. i hope you find your parts ....Jb

I'm not sure they even made that many. I'm in the precess of gathering parts to restore mine. The biggest problem with parts for the One-Sixty is that the tractor was actually manufactured by Renault and it doesn't share many common parts with the other Allis models. Luckily, the Perkins engine was also used in some Massey Ferguson tractors so engine parts aren't too difficult to find.

I got the new disc for the brakes from Agco several years ago for mine. Cost around $100 for the set. I only replaced one side and was told by a local tractor mechanic that they simply get glazed up. You can clean them off with emry paper and they will still work pretty good. That's what I did with the other side's brakes, and yes they seem to work well.

The discs should be available from your AGCO dealer, we were able to get ours ~6 months ago when we did the brakes on one of our 160s. They weren't cheap though. I think we paid around $80 per disc so $360 or so in parts.
