went out to the shed today, started several tractors and let them run awhile, went to move the 7010, and can't get it to shift into any of the gears, can shift the high/low o-k, and the tranny lever moves/turns o-k, but can't shift into any gear, didn't have time to look under the cab, are there cables like the hyd controls, or is it mechanical? poss just rusty abit,....i hope!

The cables are run back through the console. I have a 7080 that I couldnt get to shift one time and a piece broke under the floor panel. It would go into 1,2,3,4, but not 5. It was a simple fix just a little weld. I have a 7060 that wouldnt go in park, so i pulled the floor pan and there was a small rock that was stuck under the bell of the shifter but it was just enough to flex the cable and not let it grab.
