I have a couple of spare complete wheels and tires with the D14.  I was taking them apart today to start restoring the better rims.
On one set, the cams cam loose just as they are supposed to.  On the other the cams will not budge.  Just started soaking them with penetrant today so I am not worried yet.  I should have sprayed them earlier. 
 I just wonder if this is common?  They have been sitting for a few years.  Any tricks?
I did notice that both cams are turned full tight against the stop.  The other rim was that way too but came loose quickly with a short burst of 1/2" impact.
When they go back together they will get lots of Never Seize.  One of my favorite products.

Unbolt the cams from the centers and knock the center out with a sledge. Just well get it over with...

Crack them good with a 16# maul right on the head. Worked for me. Otherwise heat but with tires on the rim you'll need to set up a garden hose to run on the rim while you heat. Maul works fastest and best.

Thanks, if have not started wacking real hard just yet but I did unbolt the center just to see if the wedges would give any.

Rick I have had good luck lately just driving the eccentric bolt back and forth with a couple of hammers. I spray them down good with pb blaster at the same time. They can move about 1/8th inch without removing the snap ring which is usually enough to free them up.  I use a wedge shaped hammer on the back side, rest it against the wheel center so it doesn't slip...whack it with another hammer.  Works great with the wheels on the tractor. I jack it up and rotate each eccentric to the back where it is easy to work on.  Driving  the eccentric both ways 2 or 3 times should do the trick unless the eccentrics are too far gone to save...

Took lots of heat to get mine unstuck. I made up a big T wrench by welding a 3/4" drive socket onto pipes to give me more leverage. I still sheared on off, but luckily for me Steve C still lived nearby (1.5 hours away) and he turned me up a new one. 

I like Eldon's back and forth idea though. Would have liked to have know about it several years ago!

Rick, Good advice from all. But please wear eye protection (safety glasses) when you whack anything, especially if you whack one hammer with another. I've seen too many pieces come off the faces of hammers.

I had the same problem, took the wheel to local tire shop and had them put a 1" impact on, knocked the cams loose. I then took my smaller impact and worked them back and forth to loosen more and work some oil down into the joint.

After a week of soaking I got them to break loose.  The penetrant  and knocking ends with hammer did the trick.   I used a 1/2" breaker bar, 6 point socket and about 3 ft cheater pipe to finally get some movement.
I may pull them all the way apart as some have suggested before I use them again.  I took a lot of working back and forth in engine oil before they would work with just my fingers...

Had a couple that were stuck. Used heat and a 3/4 air wrench. The wrench is something to hang on to! I agree with the Never sieze once off. I always sand blast mine once loosed up and off, then remove the snap rings and coat everything inside with never sieze. Some of them have not been turned in decades.
