did I hear  it right ..... figure 8 flight, so ONE pass around the moon and back ?
Yeesh... go that far and only ONE pass. seems like a kinda pricey  trip.....

Going to make a Full Loop Twice around Moon for Slingshot effect.  First as Get there and one more lap to come home off.

the ship actually circles the earth, then shoot out about 45 degree angle AHEAD of the moon.. so that by the time the ship gets there it is slightly AHEAD of the moon path.... as the ship goes in FRONT of the moon path, the moons gravity pulls the ship toward it and it circles AROUND the moon as the moon continues on its path.. the ship breaks loose of gravity after turning 180 degrees BEHIND the moon and shoots back toward the earth... this makes it look like a figure 8 as it loops backward behind the moon .... if it was FOLLOWING the moon, it would have to CATCH UP to its speed...
