I have a combine motor in my 8050 that I used the stanadyne pump when I put it in. It started leaking fuel on the backside of the pump out of a large plug by the bottom towards the rear . Does anyone know what size wrench for the plug? I’m trying to avoid pulling it off to tighten it.

1 1/8" I think.

We made a special wrench - bent with correct angle and the surface has to be ground FLAT - the nut is so thin the taper on a std wrench will not turn the nut but just jump off. For some reason the bottom plug and back nut that retains the advance spring will 'let go' on rare occasions. Many times the threads pull - maybe you will be lucky.

Not related to your problem, but I noticed this on an 8070.[IMG][/IMG] uploads/721/20260302_151404_2026-03-19_18-41-32.jpg" rel="nofollow - 20260302_151404_2026-03-19_18-41-32.jpg uploads/721/20260302_151409.jpg" rel="nofollow - 20260302_151409.jpg uploads/721/20260302_151404_2026-03-19_18-41-32.jpg" rel="nofollow - 20260302_151404_2026-03-19_18-41-32.jpg
