We recently aquired a tobacco setter for a G. It is identical to the one pictured on this forum at the OPOP 2010 show. Does anyone know who owns that tractor and setter? I'm looking for info about the setter.

A lot of these were sold by a Dealer by the name of Bowling & Mudd in southern Maryland.  They said they worked great.
Good Luck!

Thanks for the info I've recieved so far.. Contacted Bob Schaffer last night. He was really helpful with the questions I had.. Has anyone seen one setup with the trays to keep the plants in? I understand these trays hook over the front axel. Maybe someone has a picture showing this setup. I'll try to get some pics posted later this weekend.

Don't know bout any information, but that sure would be a really cool thing to have here in Lancaster County! Tobacco is big here and I'd love to see that sitting next to one of the local Olivers with a Hershey transplanter on it. Both of those things are sharp looking.

As Bill said, there were quite a bit sold by Bowling & Mudd.  My Grandfathers B came from Bowling and Mudd as well as the All-Crop 60 that was on our place.  Wish I had them both still.  Coppage Implement in Great Mills, MD sold quite a few as well.  Lots of tobacco planted here in So. MD with them.  Take Care, Rick W.
