I scored an HD 11 cab the other day, I believe it to be an OEM cab. Lots of busted missing glass but that is to be expected and most of that was from when the guy removed it from his 11 some 30 years ago, he was very upset that the cab had rubbed a hole in the fuel tank so he just pushed it off over backwards to the ground, I am surprised that any glass survived at all. I want to do some changing on it, the doors are sliding doors and not in very good shape they will have to go and the area above the fuel tank is raised about 7 inches to allow for the BeeGee pump levers over the tank, it makes it hard to see the hitch, so I will remove that sheetmetal and extend the glass lower and run the levers under the seat. There will need to be something done about the fit around the fuel tank as well. 
At the same there where parts and pieces, including shanks and mounting for my Jeoffery Chisel, a chisel marketed by Allis Chalmers. They were a good chisel but if you put them on modern high pressure hydraulics they would bend the lifting ram. There is nothing available for parts these days, shanks and springs are all oddball

Not much to look at now, I also got an 11 belly pan and the original bed for my M-135 GMC

On my AC 715B I replaces some of the glass with 1/4" lexan and it's held up well . 
Rear window is 20  years old and still no problems with discoloration or scratches . 
Glass that was there some kids decided to see if rocks bounced off the glass . It' didn't but made a crack pattern in the safety glass

A local vineyard tried plastic, I don't know if it was Lexan, in the doors of their tractors. The vineyard was set up on 30 inch crossarms so the room for equipment was very limited and the guys would open the doors in the middle of a row just to have the door glass center punched by a cross arm so after several new very expensive doors they tried plastic. It worked OK for a while but the dust on the grape leaves was like sandpaper and pretty soon the door was like a bathroom glass. I don't think they ever broke one but they couldn't see through them, in time they learned not to open the doors in a vulnerable spot.Smile  I haven't priced any glass, so I have no idea what it would cost to put in new but like everything else I sure it would require hawking the farm to get it done.

The standard plea a glass will yellow in time unless UV resistant , the LEAXAN is more scratch resistant and has the UV as part of it's make up .

Went the Leaxan route on side by side windshield. It was ok for 4 maybe 5 years. Tried several polishing agents, no real help. Looked until I found a glass windshield. So much better than plastic.

More important than the glass, do you have the air conditioning parts rounded up ???

Hey Ray, Air conditioner? we don't need no stinking air conditioner.Smile I have been looking at several AC units that are 12 DC powered, they will need a large alternator and big wire for about 60 amps but if you think about all the EV's have electric and no need for hoses and compressor mounts it is all in one unit. Now, who knows if they will take the abuse of a crawler. They also have hydraulically driven units as well which will require a pump someplace but I will need one any way for if and when I adapt power steering and then there is the evaporative type coolers, I had one on a combine once, didn't care for it at all, I had a stuffed up head all summer long and it didn't work that well. I will probably never get to the cab any way, I have enough uncompleted projects that will last long after I am dead and gone, not much sense in starting another but I will think about it when it 110 degrees and sitting in the sun baking. I can't sit very long any more like I used to so that is a good time to go to the house. Tad
