1963 Allis Chalmers D19, gasoline, wide front, survivor. #13101

New Member here... I'd like to rebuild my original Water Pump to keep the

original casting (#134445). I have only found replacement pumps, but no rebuild kits.

Also, I'm not sure of the quality of replacement water pumps available.

Has anyone rebuilt one of these? If so, what aftermaket bearings, seals,

gaskets, and impeller was used? Any details would be appreciated like sizes & part numbers.

There is a different style between gas & diesel water pumps. And also between Late

and Early Gas models, which is the length of the shaft (ie. Early Gas water pumps use

a longer shaft (4-15/16" length) versus the Late Gas (5") is my understanding)

I'm pretty handy, and have a friend that can assist with pressing out the shaft, etc.

I would like to get the aftermarket parts in advance to make the job easier. In addition,

I am planning to replace the water tube, upper & lower radiator hoses, fan belts, etc.

Hopefully I can keep the radiator in place during this process.

Any other advice would be welcome. Thank you in advance.

Call Brenda at Sandy Lake Implement. She got me a kit sometime ago for a D15 Diesel waterpump that a customer sent to me to rebuild

Or there are many places that will rebuild any waterpump you send them, Just get a Hemmings Motor News and look up "waterpump rebuilding"

Do you have early or late model. Parts book says early has long filler neck on radiator 4-15/16”.

Later model have short

Early or late model might not apply if engine has been replaced (combine engine)!
