This is number 2 for me. How many before you got the "Bug"? Kinda ugly but a good strong runner. I really wanted the mower. Mike

On the seat-it's already off the tractor and I have located an original one. I did consider recovering the seat in orange and white. We'll see. It's put away till spring. Someone had posted a pic of a step they put on a C, any help? Mike

The only thingI see supporting the kinda ugly statement is the wheels. That is readily correctable and inexpensive to boot. Seat, though incorrect is probably much more comfortable than original. Check with vendors on this site for step. Someone of them probably carries them. HTH God Bless.

It only takes one to get the "BUG" but your wife won't know you have it till she sees 3 or 4 in a row, so keep them in separate buildings or at least were she can't see all of them at once. The first time you mow with a rig like that you will wonder why anybody ever built a lawn mower. Charlie

I have started out with more ugly than yours. Yours looks good and should not be that difficult to rehab

Actually, I don't think you even need one to get the fever, just being around orange seems to be all some folks need to get it.

Started out with my Grandad's Original B... but then it's been in the family longer than I have! Pnce you have it, it's just a matter of time before it takes over! Own 5 now and I'm thinking about a 6th! Looking at that this weekend!
That's a Great tractor! Once I got used to my narrow front C, I wondered why I insisted on wide fronts for so long!

As far as the ugly goes, I should have said I compared it to #1. My WD-45 we redid this Spring. This was my Daughter-in-laws Grandpa's tractor. When her Dad passed away unexpectedly we bought it to keep it in the family as it was his favorite. And it began. I guess as with children you should not compare tractors! Sorry. Mike
