Have a damaged fuel pump control link on my WD45 diesel (believe the part number to be 4507379).   It’s the later style with a ball joint on the pump-end. Anyway, at some point someone tore that ball joint up and simply folded some of the remaining metal flaps around the ball and wrapped some safety wire around that to hold it in what was left of the socket. I’m looking to making a new one (unless someone has one they’d sell?). Have a new ball joint end and plan to cut and thread the existing link.   The question is the correct length? Maybe a quarter inch doesn’t matter, but there looks to be that much guess work in reimagining where the ball post used to sit within the no longer existent ball joint slot.   Hope that made sense.   To cut to the chase, if some has a WD45 D that has a fuel pump control link rod with a ball joint on one end, could you please measure the link rod’s length (post middle to post middle) and post that?   Much appreciated!

PM me on the link. I’ll double check having it.
