Hello, running corn with my 85 gleaner F3 hydro. When I stopped for afternoon chores everything was working fine. Got back in after chores and the head wouldn’t raise. Thought hmm probably something electrical. Went to put it in gear and it’s like the hydro is running almost full speed. No changes when I move the hydro lever any direction. The cable is moving on the hydro. I can’t get it in gear. So I shut it off and went looking around it. Come to find out the jack shaft or front engine pto shaft slid and popped the belts off. That’s why I wasn’t able to pick the head up. But can that also be the reason why the hydro was moving?? Like I said everything was fine before I parked it. Thanks in advance

I think I just found the solution to my proble on Facebook. It looks like the hydraulic pump by the valves runs the control pressure for the hydrostat. Hoping to have it all back together tomorrow morning.
