Hay guys, quick question. What engine powers a Gleaner A combine and what size tires?
I have a D-14 that needs better rubber and can get a 'deal' on the Gleaner.
Don't think I can use it on my 1 acre veggie plot but it sure is neat looking and runs....
Thanks for any info.

The engine is a 230 and the tires should be 14.9 X26 or old 13 X26.
Tires will be a little over sized on a D 14, but will work.
Engine could be a replacement for a WD 45D or a Cockshutt 40

A2 is a 230.  Plain A is Ford or Hercules.

Very early A was Ford, later Hercules, latest A and A2 were 230 Allis (Buda) powered.  My 1962 A had a 230.
