I know they are hard to find, but a friend of mine is looking for one. Any help to find one would be appreciated.

Good luck, they are hard to find. Tell him to have his checkbook fully funded if he finds one! They usually go for around $7500. There is a guy that is working on reproducing them for about half the money, I think.

When M & W turbochargers were installed on say an 806/856 diesel tractor, they needed help keeping things cool.

Doc, that wasn't as much of a problem with the Red ones as it was with 4020's. One reaason there is not a lot of them out there.

The M & W boys had a good business model. Make parts to up the HP of your tractor and then when it overheats (because of their parts) they sell you a deeper alunnerman oil pan and maybe a larger radiator. Genius !!   In the case of the WD-45, a starter drive that could turn the engine over with 6 volts after installing their pistons and sleeves.
