What are you resizing and what is huge and what are you giving up on ? If photos, what is the pixel dimensions before and after resizing ? Are they just displaying large or are they large in pixel size ? All the photos I post here are 2048 Long Side. However, I first load the photos on a FREE hosting site, imgbb.com, and then post the "full image linked" URL here on the site. You can see how large my photos display in my posts here and you can CLICK what you see here and it will take you to the full size version for closer inspection. A huge advantage of using a photo hosting site like imgbb is that no matter how many photos I post, it doesn't add up in my "maximum allowable" like it does if I just upload them to the site. But then, you might not have been talking about pictures at all.
