71hp 162ci 3-cylinder Turbocharged Diesel

15-speed Power Shuttle (meaning you can change directions under power in any gear simply by moving a lever forward and back = wonderful to have)

A Backhoe attachment is an option; and, if you are operating so close as to not be able to afford the backhoe attachment, you ain't gonna make it anyway.

As she sits = 7,500-lbs

Mahindra started making tractors in India in 1963; they have factories in India, Australia, China, and the U.S.; they are by far the largest selling brand of tractor worldwide.

1921 International Harvester 8-16

A very common sight; the tractor had sat abandoned long enough for a sizable tree to grow through the frame; rather than cut the tree completely away, someone elected to leave it as a very unique conversation piece.

I have seen old abandoned cars and trucks left sitting with the hood open that have had saw-log sized trees growing through them.

Believe it or not, she was sitting there, running like a Singer Sewing Machine, for hours, with the rocker cover off and the valve train exposed.

Sheppard Diesel SD-3 Mining Tractor-Trailer Ore Mover

As Seen at Renfro Valley Appalachian Harvest Festival__2006

This example is a hand-built replica, built from five photographs of the real thing.
Note the angled cylinder mounted beside the engine; Sheppard ran oxygen into the exhaust to cut down on CO2 emissions in the mine.

There were originally five of these built; and, from what I can gather, all five were lost underground in a flooded coal mine and are still there, under ground and under water.

The rear tire tread design is what is called "Rice & Cane"

To get an idea as to just how tall this machine is, on a normal tractor, the center of the rear wheels would be in line with the center of the axle housing, just under the seat.

I clumb up in the seat to take these next two photos; I felt like I was on top of the world.

That's a good looking tractor and undoubtedly rare but I still just don't like high-crops!
