Hello all, so in looking at my manual it gives me a 4378031 part number for a copper washer for the injectors on my hd6. The only thing I can find online is a 74378031 number on agkits website. Looks like the same part but says it's for a 6120T engine which mine is not. Seems like I remember reading here somewhere that they started putting a 7 before the part numbers some years ago. I can't remember. Any ideas? Any substitutions? Thanks

yes AC numbers need to be of a 8 digit configuration, and this usually involved putting a 7 or 70 in front of number

74378031 is a number for a fuel injector copper "gasket" in the book for the Allis engine.

Ok, I thought I read that here somewhere. Thanks. Now if I could find them somewhere for less then 22 dollars a piece that would be great..lol. seems a little high for a penny sized washer. I've looked trying to find one similar but no luck yet.

Tim....good for you!...I also have a Master Numerical Idex for Allis Chalmers part numbers that shows numbers that have changed, It helps occasionally... there are numbers that have been changed that may show up at Minparr....anybody's welcome to bounce numbers of me to see if they've changed...As Merv says it needs to be a 8 digit  number...starting with 7.
