I'm amazed how many tractor drivers are so bad at it. Guess I shouldn't be after seeing so many drop the front end like an idiot. It isn't hard. Maybe the hookup was just stress fatigued but it was undersized and overworked and his surging "life style" just finally popped it LOL.

I'd say the governor stuck on that ford looks like he couldn't shut it down, if you've ever had a motor run away its pretty scary....and dosen't make you an idiot!

If it were running away it wouldn't have been surging. JMHO! Now maybe linkage stuck it wide open, but I dont think it stuck a plunger.

anything will look like it's surging when it's bouncing clear off the ground.
how about releasing the clutch though,I'd rather have it blow than have that wild ride!

I'm referring to the end when its stuck on the dirt pile, you can hear the governor surging. Plus when a plunger sticks the rack wide open, you drop that cylinder, so it starts missing. Anyhow, better him than me. LOL!
